Requirements Gathering

The process of requirements development and management is a common cause of software project frustation and failure. The path to an excellent quality software begins with the requirement gathering. I am assigned as a project manager for a client, I have to do the requirement gathering, scoping, creating an information architecture and facilitating the process of the development from start to end. I have realised the crux of requirement gathering in the initial phase of the project itself. Some readings online have really helped in ameliorating my work.

The best source as per me was Process Impact.

You need to read the book on "10 Requirements Traps to Avoid" by Karl E. Wiegers.
