Stefan Didak - Monster House
This is absolute blisss....!!! I always thought a Graphics design would be the one with the biggest ride, but this proves it wrong. Stefan is a software programmer and has this setup for his business. It is expensive, but it fits his bill without any credits and that is fair to have.
I like the faq section a lot. It explains a lot, how and why..!!! also it would be nice to read the Home Office Usage Scenarios
I am currently using a Intel Xeon 1.6 Quadro (4 Processor) machine, with 4 Gig of ram and 19" dual monitor and I suddenly feel very small. :(

Sky Diving at Long Island
http://www.longislandskydiving.com/
This has been a crazy weekend. The weather was really good and we had planned for a sky diving jump. Im a real adrenaline junkie and have tried lots of roller coasters and crazy rides and other crazy stuff.. Having said that, there has always been one thing that topped my list of things to do, Skydiving. That is exactly what I did!!!
The venue was Long Island Sky Diving. There was a huge list of signatures you had to give. It stated "you cannot sue us if you are seriously injured or killed". Basically, you saw many signs that said, "WARNING Parachuting is a high risk activity which may cause or result in serious injury or death". They even video shot the last signature with a testimonial read on the video. After a 2 hour wait, we were called and the gear was set up and some instructions were given out.
The plane journey took around 15 minutes to get to the required altitude of 10,000ft, which is just under half the height of Mount Everest. My instructor as 'Julio Marques'. He was just amazing, he was very interactive and shot a great video of me. Once you get next to the exit, there is only one way to go, downwards. I wasn’t scared or nervous nor did I really care about all those warnings till the time I was sitting half way outside the plane and above the clouds. All I could see below was green land and blue water. I wanted to do was jump and dive at over 120 miles/h but it suddenly felt crazy. Few seconds later, that’s what happened. Out with a back flip and before you know it, you’re falling and diving inside clouds, spinning, shouting and laughing. At 4,000 ft, the parachute is released. Deceivingly for an instant, you think nothing happens but then you just shoot up. Everything was awesome, from the weather to the view to controlling the parachute. After around 7 minutes, it’s all over.
What can I say, it’s the best feeling ever without a doubt, just surreal
It still hasn’t sunk in, the whole fact of throwing yourself out of a plane. Maybe sometime during this week, it might. All I can say is that this thing is addictive and I would honestly do it again right now. Put it this way, if you do this, you can do just about anything!!!
Ahh, one sad thing. I have gone a bit deaf after the jump. I read it online, for some people it stays this way for a week or two after a sky dive :(

LeRev Music at Key Club in Hollywood, LA

Le Rev
Band Members
CC Sheffield - vocals,
Nico Chiotellis - guitar,
Dave Mcfarland - drums,
Dave Wilson - bass
What a gig.. fantastic, to say the least. The place was packed, so when I saw the 'barricades' for the first time, I was aghast, to put it mildly. Key Club looked great, I loved the space and the crowd.
I was a bit late for it and the LeRev were already on the stage. It was great to see Nico playing the guitar on the stage, he was fast.. he was good. I wish we had some people in Mumbai who played like him.
What really stood out on the ballads was C.C.Sheffield's distinctive voice dripping with emotion.
All in all the show was kick ass. The music was awesome, the sound was good.. Great Show LeRev
You can check their website and music here LeRev

Night at Exotica, Yeoor Hills, Thane
I was accompanied by a close friend for a lovely night at Exotica. Exotica is located in the heart of the virgin, unspoiled, luscious green beauty of the Yeoor hills. An advantage that no other in Mumbai can boast of. Exotica have simplistic décor. It blends in with the environment. No walls separate it from the beauty around, no ugly construction,no steel, no railing. Just you and the hills and the trees and plant for shade. What really adds to the ambiance an Exotica's uniqueness are the pandals built amidst the lotus ponds where classical artistes will perform live sometimes Indian Classical, or exotic Japanese or Thai music, whatever it is it will surely be a lifetime experience. All this makes Exotica unique to any other restaurant in the whole of Mumbai.

Requirements Gathering
The process of requirements development and management is a common cause of software project frustation and failure. The path to an excellent quality software begins with the requirement gathering. I am assigned as a project manager for a client, I have to do the requirement gathering, scoping, creating an information architecture and facilitating the process of the development from start to end. I have realised the crux of requirement gathering in the initial phase of the project itself. Some readings online have really helped in ameliorating my work.
The best source as per me was Process Impact.
You need to read the book on "10 Requirements Traps to Avoid" by Karl E. Wiegers.

Bose Krishnamachari, LaVA
Bose Krishnamachari's experimental installation LaVA - (Laboratory of Visual Arts) was really something, I am happy that I didn't miss this one. It involved a collection of books on art, photography, fashion, architecture, computer graphics and even DVD's ranging from movies to rare interviews. The books are rare to find in one of the best bookstores too. Getting all the art together at one place is really amazing.
I was introduced to Bose by a common friend on the last day of the exhibition. I wish if I had been there earlier, I could have spent more time reading those rare books.

Ipod Authentication Crack
I always believed that any soft can be cracked in this world. 'cause I have seen some of the craziest stuff being cracked in the most brilliant way. Recently a friend of mine got an stolen 30 gb ipod for an dirt cheap rate, unless he realised it that it was stolen and the serial key has been frozen it was too late. But he did manage to get the guy behind it and get his money back. Later when I heard about the whole stunt, I wondered if an Ipod can be really cracked or not. It’s been ages since itunes and ipods have been in market and I am sure if they were since that time... someone must have surely cracked by now. But I searched most of the sites I know and there wasn’t any info on the crack... seems like the ipod sure had an fool proof plan, wow .. can this really be true. I still wonder how long it would survive...!!!

New Moveable Type Skin
I have just customised a Moveable type skin in Dreamweaver and tried my hand on CSS for the first time... and this seems to be working fine finally. I did get a Moveable Type Style Generator from Brajeshwar's site but it somehow didnt work out. Just wasted 2 hours of time in it. Right after that I got to raw format of styling. Let's hope this turns out good and please let me know if this has any bug's or any section is not looking good.

Moveable Type is finally up and running after 4 hours of uploading, fiddeling and reading the documents. I am sure i've missed a hell lotta options on the spamming, archiving, commenting etc. But I should be able to pick them up gradually and work more towards a complete and regular updating blog... best of luck to myself... gee, that sounds lame...

Maruti Swift - Boooked
I just got a 50K hole in my pocket today... it happened all of a sudden, I was planning for a car since sometime... didn't realise it would happen all of a sudden.
Along with my colleagues (Amit and Santosh), I happen to get down the office for a cup of tea, where we decided to zip across to a maruti showroom for a quick glance of their new swift car.
The introductory offer was going on and the prices were going to hike the next day. So all had to happen in a day itself. We just got a test drive done and everything seemed to fit in perfectly.
and I just decided to end up with a 50K hole in the pocket.
The car is just great for its price. The features are amazing.
I bought the second best model
Maruti Swift VXi with ABS technology.
So this will be the first car that I have bought with my money and this will be the biggest investment... - Rs. 4.6 Lacks (my heart is still pounding)
![]()
I was really confused about the color... I asked the agent to pick up a color he favors from Red and Black... so Black it was.
well it's gonna take more than 45 days for delivery... would give me some time to decide about the financing and for an auspicious date for the car delivery.
